Some Baseball Shots…
Every since my son was in T-ball, I always took my camera to the games. It started off by me shooting just him, then the team, to last year were I spent my entire summer on the fields photographing all 17 teams. I enjoyed doing it and I used it as a time to really practice some skill shots.
Luke lives for baseball, it’s his dream to become a professional baseball player, and he’s not far off his mark!
This year, since we moved, I was able to concentrate just on Luke and Saturday was an amazing time to start. In a 2 inning pitch Luke pitched: 4 strike outs, 1 ground out, 1 infield pop up, 1 walk and zero runs scored.
While standing on the opposition side of the field I had a chance to hear the coaches talk about the pitches Luke threw. One coaches comment was “WOW, that was an amazing pitch”, another said “That was a perfect pitch, you’re not going to hit that” The head coach said to me: “That’s your son? I responded “yes” (okay and that reads more like YES!!!!!) and he commented “he’s got game”. Of course he has game, he lives to play ball, it’s his passion and passion is important in anything you want to do well!
After the game the coaches approached Luke and congratulating him on a good game!
SO I thought I would take a moment and post some images from the game.

Wow, that is amazing that he’s doing so well! Good for him!!! These are great photos, too – I love how you caught the tension in his body and face in some of them – awesome!
You can really tell he loves the game – look at his expressions. How does he last a whole game with all that he puts into ONE pitch – unbelievable! Your pictures are so crisp, sharp…I know you enjoyed taking those shots. Love it!
